Rain and Drizzle

Out my window I can see the rain fall

I can see across the river to the hill far away

Where the rain doesn’t fall

It drizzles

Drizzle is a poor man’s rain

Not really falling or refreshing the earth

But adding moisture to each breath you take

Muggy is drizzle and I will have it not

Rain cleans

Drizzle dampens

Drops refresh the soul, sleep in it to be reborn

Mist cakes your body like a mummy’s wrap

I will take rain any day

Over Drizzle

I’m not stupid

Sunny is much better
